Another busy weekend for KGTC!

This past weekend our Gymstart athletes made their first trip to the Vancouver area to participate in the Phoenix Invitational and the Aviva Invitational. Our Competitive Women's Team competed at the 2010 KATTS Invitational in Kamloops and one of our Competitive Gymnast Britney De Palma competed at the 2010 Western Canadian Gymnastics Championships in Regina, Saskatchewan.
All athletes performed extremely well at the competitions!! The results are below:

Exciting News from Kamloops Gymnastics Trampoline Centre!
This past weekend was a busy one for KGTC. Our Women’s Interclub Team competed at the “Under the Big Top” 2010 Invitational in Surrey. Our KGTC Outlaw Cheer Team competed at the “Sea to Sky” Competition in Vancouver. Our Competitive Women’s Team competed at the 2010 BC Gymnastics Championships in Langley and the Competitive Trampoline Team competed at the 2010 BC Trampoline Gymnastics Championships in New West Minister.
The athletes all did extremely well! Results are below.

**Of special note is Lauren Hoot’s 4th place finish in the Novice 15+ category. This and her performance at the Team BC Trials meets qualified her to compete for Team BC at the 2010 Canadian Gymnastics Championships being hosted here in Kamloops May 24th-30th!!!!
This is an exceptional honour that Hoot will be able to compete at the Canadian Championships in her home town, the Tournament Capital!

Laruen Hoot has qualified to represent Team BC at the 2010 Canadian Gymnastics Championships

Congratulations to Lauren Hoot from KGTC!! Lauren competed in Novice 15+ on Double Mini at the third trials in Kelowna and has qualified to represent Team BC at Nationals in Kamloops, May 24th to 30th, 2010. Lauren has been training at KGTC for 6 years and this will be the first time competing at Nationals. Excellent Job Lauren!! We are so proud of your accomplishments!!
