For many Kamloops teams and athletes, the KGTC Cross-Training program has become an important part of their training as a unique program or a custom-tailored user group class dedicated to your sport and specific needs of your team.

What to bring to each session: We want athletes to have fun while they learn in a safe and secure environment.

They should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move easily. Shorts and t-shirts are great – just ensure that clothes are not too baggy as it may become a danger or too tight to be restrictive. Long hair should be tied back and socks and shoes removed. Jewellery or other items that might cause scratching or become caught in materials should be removed.

KGTC has leotards and shorts available for purchase in the Athlete Boutique.

Food and Drink: A water bottle is permitted. No food or juices are permitted in the sessions unless for medical reasons.

FOR TEAMS

KGTC is able to offer overall conditioning, team-building, strength training or enhanced skill training. KGTC will coordinate and design in consultation with your coaches to design a program to help athletes reach their goals.

TRU Wolfpack Cheerleading Team, RIPTech Diving Club and many others use our facility to enhance training – you should give us a try.

FOR INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES

KGTC offers 10-week programs so individual athletes can register and discover the benefits of gymnastics.

Are you the athlete who jumps or leaps across a huge drop like it isn’t there, ski or sprint up a vertical wall, then execute an epic back flip off the top? Are you showing off? Yeah, maybe a little, but isn’t that the whole point? Maybe you are a dancer, graceful and creative in movement, who wants to add acro into their choreography.

Gymnastics for Snow Sports, for Parkour, for Dancer provides a safe environment to play with movements.
