I’M THE ONE WHO DEVELOPS ADVANCED SKILLS…
A program for all abilities – from beginner to advanced. Train for your high school team, if that’s your goal, or just come out and learn new skills, increase your strength and fitness, and meet new friends. Gymnasts are the best all-round athletes of any sport, and the training in this program helps teens to compete in all sports at a higher level, and to develop their discipline, focus and accountability.
For those wanting to compete, we support them in competing in local competitions, so that they can qualify for BC Secondary School Championships.
Who is this program for? Students in Grades 7 to 12 – beginner gymnasts to elite athletes – who want to compete for their high school, or who want to learn some gymnastics skills, have fun and enhance their performance in other sports.
When do I register? Registration opens in July. The program starts in September and runs for 10 months (until June). Camps are also available in the summer. If you wish to join the program after it has started, please call our office to see if we can accommodate you.

What to bring to each session: We want athletes to have fun while they learn in a safe and secure environment.
They should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move easily. Shorts and t-shirts are great – just ensure that clothes are not too baggy as it may become a danger or too tight to be restrictive. Long hair should be tied back and socks and shoes removed. Jewelery or other items that might cause scratching or become caught in materials should be removed.
KGTC has leotards and shorts available for purchase in the Athlete Boutique.
Food and Drink: A water bottle is permitted. No food or juices are permitted unless for medical reasons.
